Who made the first coaster for street and park style riding and not just flatland.
I know KHE made a bunch
I know Odyssey had the Reloader
Primo had one before the Freemix
Alienation STILL makes the Rush v2

Odyssey had the Hazard before the reloader.
I think Nankai has something less flatland oriented that has been around a while.

Poverty made one, and it was the first I was aware of with a "KHE" style spring balls for tension

KHE made the first ones? Then Bruce Crisman designed his own freecoaster mod I believe. All the others are basically KHE clones.

Nope. Nankai made one about 40 years ago.
The modern ones are mostly KHE, BUT the Poverty was a more primitive version of the current KHE style coasters.

the Nankai isn't 40 years old.
Freecoaster hubs evolved from coaster brake hubs.
ACS made a device that replaced a standard freewheel that allowed the rider to turn some screws , which would turn the hub into a freecoaster. I think there were a few other companys that had similar products.
Standard was the company that created/made the 'unbrake', which replaced the brake plates inside a normal coaster brake hub. Standard also made the first machine coaster hub shells.
G-Sport George welded better flanges on normal coaster brake hubs.
