How are the faf k foldable tires? Need some good street tires that are grippy and i also ride my local park with a street setup.
Ive heard the faf ks are super rad. and im thinking of getting a 2.25 k front and the 2.10 k rear but do they wear fast?
If not ill probably get an asm

Good if you get 2.25. Probably the best tire I've ever run.
Wear out real fast in other sizes, still good though.

That's good, or even a 2.30 in the back.

i just bought a wire 2.25 for the rear on mine. dissapointed at how small it is compared to my premium on the front, but iv run both 2.1 and 2.3 fafs before so undoubtedly it will be good. theyr probably the best tyres on the market

absolutely love them. i've put them in a bunch of setups including:

faf 2.25 front 2.10 momentum back
faf 2.25 front and back (not a fan of the big tire in the back)
faf 2.25 front 1.95 aitken klyte back
faf 2.25 front and 2.1 back (2.1 wore down real fast)
etc.

moral of the story, 2.25 is amazing.

if i were you id run 2.25 faf K in the front and 2.10 regular faf in the back. the less aggressive faf Ks wear down insanely fast.

Aw fuck, I heard it was only the 1.95s.. So what would be a good rear tire?

Grifter if you want a 2.10... they're soooo grippy and last long.

Isnt it the other way around?
And never had a 2.3 front. does it feel any different?

|

5/8/2012 6:00 AM

Uv been bmxing long enough to know the 2.3 is less ageessive and is thinner than the 2.25 so it makes a good rear.

2.25 front

2.3 rear

I run 2.25 FAFs front and back. They roll fast and grip well. I run the wire bead ones because I am a cheap slut. I'm prob going to get rid of mine though when the Kink tires come out in tan wall in June.
