Says it all in the name, and i will be grinding, riding mainly street&park, sometimes trails

|

1/8/2012 10:43 AM

well if you are doing trails get the Faf's, but mainly street Demo's are nice.......and sexier

|

1/8/2012 10:46 AM

i think id go for the faf, but i see you put the demo in which is fat as fuck, and the faf 2.3 which is supposed to be fat as fuck, but isnt that fat compared to the 2.25, the 2.25 has a deeper tread making it better for the small amount of trails and shit you do aswell, sorry if you knew that haha, so yar faf 2.25 or if you want a smaller tyre get the 2.3, i love my 2.25

I hardly ride trails, i just want a fat fast durable tire, and left between these two, but i'll look into the 2.25

the 2.25 is fast, and i noticed the difference the first week i had it, mines is about a year old and like 65% tread left, i mostly ride park though

Seriously the 2.30 is bigger than the 2.25 its annoying when people say otherwise just cause it's a big rumor on the internet, people run the 2.30 in the back JUST because the 2.25 thread is more aggressive, the 2.30 is still bigger.

Allright, you said you want longer lasting, get the faf 2.25, but it is heavier, by a lot. if you dont mind tires not lasting as long, go with the momentums, $20 each, and they are only 20 oz, but if you ride wet tails, they are a no-no. I have had a momentum 2.2, and i just put FAF-K 2.25's on. My friend, who I got the 2.25's from just got 2.3's and the 2.25 takes up more room in the chain-stays.

|

I know this is a chain tool, but what am i gunna do wit' it?

thanks man, helpful, but for street, park and occasional dry trails whats do you think?

|

1/8/2012 1:43 PM

Go with the momentums, save $10 and 10 oz, and then get another set when they start to get thread bare.

That makes no sense, how can a tyre get wobbly?

proper helpful, thanks, will get them, will they fit in amber lexicon forks?

|

1/8/2012 1:51 PM

I dont know. most forks these days are big enough to fit big tires

I have the demo, it's way wider and taller than anything I've had, and sidewall is weak, beware

according to Dans Comp...
The faf 2.25's infalated width is 2.36 and the diameter is 20.66
the faf 2.3's inflated width is 2.2 and the diameter is 20.5....

awkward...

I have nothing against pegs at all, I don’t think you’re dumb if you ride pegs, I don’t care about your pegs, they are just pegs! What I do hate is the fact that every person in BMX hops on this bandwagon of three pegs, and beanies, and weed, and hop-over grinds… It’s just sad that the pros who influence kids are more worried about looking cool than the kids themselves! It’s crazy!-Trey Jones
