Does this happen to anyone else? Whenever I turn my foot will hit the front tire. Does it have to do with my shoe size?

Big ass feet. Just move your foot backwards on your pedal , or get shorter cranks.

Any cranks you recommend? The ones I have right now are 170

Try 165mm crank arms. Try Profiles because they make them in that size , plus they're good. Some people say they bend them but thats really hard to do , my friend has a pair with titanium spindle and he swears by them. Or try Fits new 24mm spindle Indent cranks , they look like sex , and also come in 165mm arms.Personally I'd recommend Macneil Consplined cranks. They are sex and bulletproof , plus everyone loves the look. They do only come in 175 and 170mm though , but you could look into their new cranks.

shoe size, crank length, top tube length, head tube angle and maybe even fork offset can affect how close your tire is to your feet. My foot is about an inch away with how I'm positioned on the pedals. I rarely hit the tire, but it happens.
FREE not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes
STYLE a particular, distinctive, or characteristic mode of action or manner of acting
Longer top tube and shorter crank arms that would help.......only time my feet hit is on x ups and I ride 180 mm cranks with 20.75 or 21 inch top tube but those x ups always feel good
