Welp, moral of the story, don't scam people.
Honestly, reach out to his friends on FB and let them know what he did. Add him, and post it all over his FB wall (show proof AKA what he promised and what you got via photos and discussions etc). Send it to his friends and family as well.
Pressure from everyone will aid you in getting your stuff back, or clearing things up.

The second "her" link I posted above, if you go to her "about" thing on facebook, it comes up with a bunch of family members. mostly just "sisters" but also aunts & uncles, maybe you can reach them somehow
