Thought it might be cool to see what frames everyone has had over the years. From the time you started to present. Some of us have rode a lot longer than others but it doesn't matter throw em up anyway. I'll try to remember mine in a chronological order but doubt I'll get it right.

Since I started riding again, about a year and a half ago, I've tried a few different frames.
Started with a haro back trail 2004, then fit Benny 3 complete, just the frame, that I built up with aftermarket stuff, then I got a volume mystery machine, then a cult hawk v2, stranger nomad, and finally a Sunday new wave/first wave. I think that's it but I feel like I'm missing one. I still have the haro, Sunday, and cult. That's a lot of bikes for a year and a half lol. I stopped riding around 2006, and had a few crappy mid school completes back then.

You've had some incredible frames, makes me a bit jealous.

My frame history is lame:

First BMX was a Commencal (I think they only do MTB now), no idea what model it was, but at the time it was far better and lighter than other completes.
My first aftermarket frame was a Macneil John Heaton, which was a short frame well ahead of it's time.

Fast forward over ten years and I got back into BMX on a WeThePeople Curse complete, which has actually done me really well.

My latest frame is a Tall Order 215, which I'm yet to ride.

|

If I could go a tenth as high as Larry Edgar goes, then I would still be blasting super high.

I really loved those Heaton's in red they were definitely ahead of their time same with the Ruben that you could run small gearing with cs brakes. Those tall order 215s have good geo I was considering one before I went with t1. It's a real shame I didn't keep any of the frames I had. My ruben got stolen and I had to start from scratch again it still had the seat clamp from my first haro on it, I was literally heart broken. After that I took a break cuz I just couldn't get the spirit back and slowly gathered parts for a couple years

Haha no sorry Mishin. Tbh I don't know much about the Old Skool BMX, I've hear of a PK Ripper, but couldn't tell you what it looks like.

However your latest frame is sweet!

Yeah I absolutely loved the Ruben frame, but I was way too small for it, the Heaton just made a lot more sense for me at the time. I did have Ruben bars and forks though. Miss that bike

Yeah, I took it apart, stripped/sanded/cleared it and then got antsy waiting for the new frame so I put it back together.

I'm guessing Dave at PDC is running a little behind but I believe he's working on my frame now. Once that comes I'll retire the SE and probably try to do some kind of really unique finish. It's still in great shape actually, so there's no reason not to shred it while I can.

2006 Haro Backtrail x2
Sunday OG
KHE Bar-Bados
Sunday 3rd Wave
Sunday Soundwave v2

Nothing wrong with the Haro, just wanted a lighter frame.

Ovalized the headtube on the Sunday OG, and also thought I cracked it. Turns out it wasn’t a crack but they gave me a crash replacement discount on the 3rd Wave. I didn’t try to warranty it until after I started messing up the KHE frame though.

The KHE had stress cracks on the downtube/headtube gusset. The gusset had a palm tree shaped cutout and the cracks were forming from the inside of the cutout towards the welds, but not actually touching the welds. I got it like that from a friend (I knew about them) and made em a bit worse with my riding. Also started twisting the rear end, and I wanted to go back to a Sunday frame.

The 3rd Wave put a bunch of cracks in but it never actually snapped. Cracked the top of the toptube/headtube junction, bottomtube/headtube junction on the gusset and at the bottom of the gusset, and I think the seatstay bridge as well.

Soundwave v2’s still going strong after about a year!

Most all frames were too big for me when I was younger that's why I went from a mirra to a couple flatlandish frames

I've been riding bikes since I could walk, but I started to get into bmx in 2015.
Redline Asset (stock hi-ten POS, barely even a real frame)
Black Eye Park Pro (09)
Fit Mac 2 (an upgrade)
Volume Vessel
Eastern Dragon (OG back from 09)
S&M Tallboy

I still have half of these frames, the Mac's chillin in my room, and the eastern, volume, and s&m are all built up. Sold the blackeye as a partial build to my buddy, and he later sold it. Just wish I could get my hands on it again, it was a fun frame to ride.
