As you guys know, i am in need of a new frame. I'm trying to decide between a sunday soundwave, fbm orphan, cult dak, or bonedeth motorbone. Any other frames with similar geo to those would also be considered. I know most people would say sunday because it has wave tubing and a good warranty, but i honestly cant see the wave being much of a help as i have never dented a tt or dt. I would love an fbm because a bunch of the team lives here and they really support the bmx scene and welded mounts are a plus, but it doesn't have a tt gusset and that is right where i broke my skavenger. The other two frames i'm considering because dak and burns are my favorite riders and they have good geo and both gussets. But overall it comes down to the strongest frame with the best geo at the best price. Do you think the motorbone would be stronger than the orphan? The only real problem i have with buying the sunday is it's more expensive and no tt gusset but i'm guessing the massive gusset on the dt makes up for it? Sorry for rambling a bit, i'm just not sure what to get.

Either the Orphan or Soundwave. Top tube gussets are unnecessary, and are sometimes even worse than having one. Your frame would have probably still broken if it had one. I'd go for the Soundwave just because it is undoubtedly the strongest option with the best warranty.

How about a Take Babylon 2? Real similar to the Orphan except it has a toptube gusset and removable mounts. The Take frames are made by FBM...

New Dak looks really good . Cultifornia one . I'd probably get that . I mean you aren't gapping a continent like Burns so it will hold up anyways compared to the Bone Deth and Dak has the tech and the big burly tricks so you know it's dialled. Cult seems decent , I'm buying AK bars soon .
