I have an Alienation Rush V2 freecoaster and i'm wondering how to adjust the engagement more. the slack adjustment doesn't seem to be helping. Is it just cause i'm not used to it? i'd like it to engage almost right when i start pedaling, is this possible? anyone?

instant engagement works both forward and backward, so it will defeat the purpose of having a coaster. slack is what keeps it from catching when you're rolling backwards

Its best to learn to ride a freecoaster with max slack. You'll get used to it in a day or two at most. Plus it helps with learning fakie tricks. When you get more experienced, you can use less slack.

This. No slack on a coaster means you have to be incredibly precise with your pedal location on fakies, or it will act like a silent cassette.

I personally love minimal slack, and when you watch me ride you would never know
