for the khe reverse v1, the one w/o the acb, wouldn't buying this (http://www.danscomp.com/products-PARTS/439083/KHE_Freecoaster_Adjustable_Axle_Upgrade_Kit.html) make the reverse v1 effectively a v2
are they compatible with each other/ would it fit and work?

I do believe there is no difference in the bearing sizes or anything like that. I'm pretty sure you just take out the V.1 axle & put in the V.2 axle with ACB axle like you said effectively making it a Reverse V.2..

I bought this kit 2 weeks ago and rebuilt an old alienation rush coaster. Good as new now. As long as there's nothing wrong with the hub shell ur good to go. Definitely better than buying a new hub

No. The only way it could become damaged is if u beat the hell out of it. Also repeatedly engaging the clutch while coasting backwards will chew up the inside of it. As long as it wasn't abused and it looks fine then its fine
