Been trying 180's flat for about 3 months now and for the life of me cannot do them! I've watched loads of videos and read loads of threads but just can't get the right muscle movements or positions!

Could any of you give me some little personal tips which helped you 180 flat?? Just little things to help me as I've read and watched all the basic tutorials!

Thanks

Try no footers and jumping tricks instead they are cooler anyways 180s a filler trick

When I learned 180s I had the problem of taking my foot off. I learned to pinch my cranks with me ankles and it helped.

I can no foot, touching the front tyre and stuff but just want to be able to 180 down small stair steps etc..

Yeah sometimes I take my foot off cause I know the landing is bad but just can't get enough spin or anything!

Carve into it a lot, turn your head and just do a nice hop. Don't think about whipping your tail/backend around or anything like that just focus on carving, turning your head, and hopping. Make sure you turn your head while you hop.

I dont say stupid things, just no one knows what im talking about.

I wouldn't carve at all with 180s it limits you to doing them at a slow speed and there not hard to just get off the hop

This. I try my best not to overthink them but I end up doing it anyways. I try to snap my head around and not turn my head with my body. It gives a quicker reaction. Otherwise, I'll fall off in mid air from too much leaning or whatever.

What helped me was going a bit faster and turning my head. If you go fast you don't really have to think about the carve or anything too much you kinda just get thrown around. Also turning your head is a big part of the trick.
