I have never bought anything from Dans. I can always seem to find a better deal on Amazon.

nah. if they wont return because of hair i doubt they will give me a refund on a shit filled shoe.

fucking place sent me wrong color bars (same bars) TWICE. biggest hassle ive ever had. fuck that place. prices are nice and all the coupon codes are cool, but the hassle is bullshit.

I think i talked to the same lady when i called she is a total bitch, and i only shop on dans if they have good discounts there costumer service sucks ass they though i was lying because i didn't get this pin for the shadow chain breaker i ordered 2 only sent 1 but that is not that big of a deal. I would like to try empire but looks like they never have discounts so idk albes has slow shipping but flip (i think that's his name) is nice and they have good discounts sometimes and i would order from amazon but they don't have everything so that sucks.

They called and goes "why would you even send these in? they look like you wore them for a week and a half. " and i called bullshit and she got all flustered and transferred me.


FLip is cool but holy fuck shipping takes forever. Empire seems the best. though it might be a bit more expensive.

I have ordered from albes internationally and they were pretty fast, in 3 days i had my forks, and one of those days was for doing the order and that.

I've been trying to use empire a lot more .

I have never had ah problem with dans.

Anyone know the international shipping rate with empire for 1kg and less?

I have only used albes, their customer service was great but it took a while for my bike to arrive, cost $45 to ship a complete to Puerto Rico, I have also used Larrys Bicycles out of Pennsylvania, they ship most small stuff to me for free but the kid that works their is an Idiot, make sure you ask them to check if they have the item otherwise they will sell it to you and then call you days later and say that they are out of stock

quick question. you are in puerto rico why are you using a small shop out of Pennsylvania? i could see any of the mail orders but just a random shop in Pennsylvania?

My lbs has nothing BMX, albes, empire, and dans charge shipping, but now that I have found disscount codes I will be using dans cause they have what I want and ill be able to use the 15% off code, empire doesnt have some of the stuff I need to build my other bike plus I have to pay shipping, unless theirs a disscount code for empire?

Haven't had any issue. Chick was probaly on her PMS. Phone back and speak to someone else and complain , that lady shouldn't do that , and return those shoes.

Just for future reference , buy shoes in pereson ; you can try them on and see if you like them. Most shops have a warranty saying if you wear them they're void , so buying online isn't the best idea.

I love dans. And about the hair thing, it could be health law stuff. Not sure on that but it could be a possibility. And thats what you get for ordering shoes, it's a complete guess. And dans has what I want. If I want, I get. Unless my lbs or site with better customer service has it. Don't care about price.

mine doesnt. I guess that i learned from the beginning to just tilt my foot back ever so slightly so that it doesnt hit. Same with 4 pegs. my back foot never hits but when cruising i can easily rest my foot on the peg.

Dans is usually alright to me, I've used them quite a bit. But I know so many people who have been sent the wrong colours or the wrong part. Mostly colours. I have been sent damaged parts (and not from shipping) and they made me pay the shipping both ways. Once I use up my dans account rewards I'm switching to empire, they're a real shop.

Ive never had an issue with them. Dan's has always been good to me. Albes was too on the one thing I got. Never ordered from Empire, but it is rare I need much. Now that I don't work in a shop, if they do it is where I will order from.
