and yea, i agree. seems like all the hate they got early on was unnecessary.

I wouldn't say unnecessary. If Van Homan, one of BMX's savoir and god, publicly announced his dissapointment in Robbie for the cult/fit beef, there was a reason for it. The dislike(or hate) here in the forum we gave it back in the better days was because it was generic when they started making all the parts they could at once

true but i'd imagine homan isn't immune to being biased and i could see why he would have been. on paper, what robbie did was shady but i don't know all the details that only people involved would know. i can't say i blame him because it was all in the pursuit of running a successful bmx company. i would have done the same. i agree that their parts were pretty generic in the beginning but that's what i would expect from most new companies. i'm not really defending them; it just seems like a lot of people hated on cult just cus of the controversy. i still don't really care for most of their products. the fact that most of their frames are pretty much the same geo has always bothered me.

I think a lot of emotions were running wild when the split first happened, but everything has settled down and everyone realizes they're better off where they're at.

Oh god I remember back then I couldn't even finish that video cause it was tooo stupid but now I see where everyone got all their anti-cult lines from hahaha

And also yeah I think the Edwin and Eddie things are just hook-ups since I think they were both on fit the time Robbie was still running things and robbies definitely keeping the legends in the loops

I remember when it all happened and I heard Dak, Hawk & Dehart left Fit. I was like holy shit

I was one of the few people who never talked shit on Cult from the start.

Remember when all of cults signature frames had the same geo as each other? That was hilarious.

Also i still have respect for Morales as the trailboss. But none.for what he did with cult.

I thought HOW it went down was the issue. Personally it seemed that Robbie essentially didn't get his way with what he wanted Fit/S&M to do, so he went his own route, and it seemed like he "stole" the team from Fit.

I still won't buy any of their stuff. But that is because I prefer other brands.

That is the issue. It was all under and back handed
