They are really nice, but I'm not 100% convinced they are worth the money. The are better than the pro-tec IPS knees I had before, but those were like $20.

I had an old pair of Shadow shin guards, and I was always afraid to wash them and after a while they smelt like shit, haha. I mainly just want to know, if my foot slips the pedal and the pedal smashes my shin or knee cap, will it hurt more/less compare to other shin guards? I had minor arthitis in both my knees, so I need the best possible shin/knee guards. Thanks
I have the knee pads and do the job well. I could whack myslef with a hammer and not feel anything...Ive fallen on my knees(on cement) and nothing.
Im actually thinking of picking up the combo due to it being less bulky , quicker and easy to putt on/take instead of dealing strao adjustments and all.
Do wear under jeans and such as rough terrain will rip the padding depending on how you fall
Ive had the knee pads for at least a year or about 2 now and they still have perfect shape and protection
