So i got this hub, in white (from robinson79) and i figured i'd give it a good first impression for everyone considering or just interested in it!

It's so sick. I laced it in under an hour including truing to my Primo 7 Series rim, which should be tough enough, but if not i will buy some other rims if it has any trouble. It isn't crazy loud, which was refreshing from my (kind of poop) Colony Wasp. I liked that hub for its engagement but it probably needed new springs and the drive side lock nut kinda got messed up and the thing was not good for grinds really. Compared to that hub, this thing is amazing in every way. I really really love this hub, it seems about 10000X better. Really solid engagement and solid on grinds and stuff, the guard is good too. It lived up to the hype for me and should be the last hub i will ever need.

10/10 for now. If i have any trouble, which isn't possible really, its easy to put together and shit and really simple to take apart as well.

Its also great for fakies in comparison to others i have had for some reason, maybe more slack or something.

Oh and i have a fully guarded MDS now, which is really cool for sprocket/BB grinds. I did a few earlier and just now on my subrosa rail, its so fun. I like how it doesn't let the chain fall off.

It's seriously so smooth that my manuals were instantly better and more balanced. I love it. Fakies too, i never realized how much a hub affects how i ride!

Yeah, maybe one day! If i need a new wheelset all at once, its gonna be tree hubs to ribcages. Profiles are nice but i don't like male hubs or shemale hubs tbh. they annoy me relentlessly. I do a lot of crank arm stuff and pedal grinding so male axles tend to get fucked up easier.

Ratchets feel fine in fakie. I just hate the slack they have. And they're so sluggish

I'm on the vital legit list!

They do not have the quickest engagement, but i got used to it pretty fast. I like the slackiness because the fakies are incredibly easy.

Anyone remember when Aaron Ross rode a cassette and did really long controlled fakie lines? It's like that and i LOVE it. haha

i had a loose/play issue with the 9t driver that i couldnt figure out how to fix for ages. i just needed to stretch out one of the clips
it would occasionally... more like rarely skip, not a problem
the flanges are super thick so the spokeheads bend to hell around the flange and snap when grinding with a gland hubguard

the good
awesome bearings, i always rolled fast as hell
ran the aluminum 3/8ths axle and only ever had to replace some starting-to-bend-bolts after a couple years and a new set of botls was only $2.50 iirc
came in 48h, my wheel would be missing multiple spokes and still hold pretty straight and true

i ran it for five years and until i found an antigram on sale for $5
