My current gear ratio is 36 or 38-16 ( I mis counted the sprocket gear but its one of the two ) Would it be odd going from 36/38-16 to 36/38-10??? Or would it flat out not work?
I run a 24 inch Haro by the way.

Yeah I already tried there, it's a 6 year old thread and nobody wants to actually be helpful in it.
ive never done that before but i would think 38-10 is too high of gearing to be practical.
i ride to stay young
I probably need to get a new sprocket gear while I'm at it, or get a different gear for the rear.
Your best bet is to call Dan's Comp.? Last time I checked the smallest cassette gear you can go is 11 th any smaller you have to change hubs? You can drop down to a 13 th no problem. Run a 38 th sprocket that would be decent gearing? That's my opinion?

Well I plan on getting another hazard lite for the rear and I found one thats pre laced to a V3 hub, well the hub is anywhere from 9T-16T but the website doesn't say which teeth are already on it. So I guess I'll just have to order it and hope that it's at least 13.
