Personally I wouldn't care. Not "I wouldn't care" as in fuck you, but it'd be just like riding with guys. Just ride and it's all good, if they give you weird looks or anything, tell them to suck your figurative dick. You're there doing the same thing they are, riding your bike and having a good time.

Girls riding a bike in the skatepark are very rare, i've seen only 1... riding a walmart bike, 2 brakes, 2 rear pegs and running over skateboarders. it was lulzy...

I've seen a lot of skater girls and fruit booter girls though.

Girls tend to dominate in mainly park riding. I guess it sets you up more easier and transitions you to progress quicker, etc. Learning full on street, and note that with a lot of flat land, doesn't really provide you much, anything if all, really.

I wouldn't think that they would dominate more in park riding.... I guess I didn't really think that they would dominate at all....

I meant for females, haha. Compared to males, there's obviously no chance. I'm just saying all girls usually start off riding park and use that to their advantage. It really does help.

I'd be more than happy to see a chick that could ride dirt. Well, park and street for that matter as well, and wouldn't have any problem riding with her. Like they said, don't get in people's way, but we were all noobs at one point, so we've all been there. But like mentioned, take what people say with a grain of salt. There's tons of haters, so don't get discouraged. Push thru it and get better than them! Learn your terminology and try to keep up with news so you don't sound like a goon when people are trying to discuss things with you at the park. Make friends with your locals as well. Above all, have fun and do what makes you happy! BMX is a wonderful sport and you'll meet lots of awesome people, visit alot of great places and have good times if you set your mind to it! And don't worry about your looks. Chances are you're gonna look better than 9/10ths of the people at the park anyways. Lol. Plus the fact that you're actually riding and not just sitting around acting stupid with all the dumb sluts will make you stand out even more. Definitely a plus as far as I see it, and anyone who really rides should see that as well and respect you alot more for it.

i think its awesome that girls go to the park and want to ride and not go there to get attention from the the guys. The only thing i hate is when the guys act like pigs when girls are there and make them uncomfortable. Don't worry about your skill level, we all sucked when we first started biking. Just have fun with it and don't listen to what the haters have to say.

Some dudes are idiots and they think harassing a girl is flirting, and some dudes think that because you are a girl in a park they should be an asshole to you or they expect you to provide sexual favors. Those guys are asshats and do NOT reperesent all riders or all of BMX. They are just insecure little shits who are threatened by you being there.

Just ride, have fun, do your thing, and learn some solid moves.
