Premium are over priced crap so no..

Doesn't matter, pick a frame with Geo you like. I'm 6'1 & i switch between a 20" & a 21.25" Also i ride Flatland on a 19.25" i truly believe it does not matter what people "should" ride. However, If you do feel more comfortable on a longer frame look into...

BSD, Cult, FBM, Federal, Fit, Kink, Mutiny, S&M/Credence, Skavenger, Subrosa, Sunday, Terrible One, The Take, United & Wethepeople.

Every single one of those companies offer very well made frames with wide ranges of geometry. You will find a frame you like from one of those companies i GUARANTEE it!

Macneil Deuce is the best choice 22" top tube. my brother is 6 foot 4 and he loves it. or the Macneil Calico

Geometry makes all the difference. two different frames with 21" top tubes can feel completely different due to head tube and seat tube angles along with bb height etc.
I'm 6ft and switch between 21" and 20.75 depending on geo but can also ride my sons 20" tt macneil.
My 21" Loden is definitely a longer feeling frame than my 21" Loosefer due to geo. My 20.75 Pandora also feels comfortable as well.

These bars are officially stupid.

I'm 6'0", and 21.25 feels great. At first it felt a little long, but after a little research I found out my last bmx bike had a 19" tt, haha.

Whatever Chris Doyle or David Grant's signature frame is. They're both tall as fuck. Idk if Chris Doyle still has a signature frame though.

I still ride a stock frame its 20.25 and I find it kinda small I'm 5'9" and hopefully I'll be able to afford a new frame soon.

Macneil duece duece......im only 5 10 and i think my next frame will be a duece duece

|

6/17/2013 12:36 PM

The Duece Duece was designed for really, really tall people. I cant imagine someone at 5'10 riding a frame that someone who is like 6'6 would be at home on! I guess you guys would ride perfect 10's with it too then haha? Go full on Giant bike build? I was going to try a 21.5" But i'm 6'1 & even i think it might be a bit to big for me! Like i said I've been running a 20" for tech street & I'm taller than the majority of people commenting in here! Its up to you really, buy something you think YOU WOULD LIKE! My new frame is going to be 19.25"!! Shock Horror!! haha. Mind you it will be a legit Flatland frame built for nothing else.

OooOooo 1,500 posts laughing

Nah i wont ride bars over 8.0 inches tall......still got kink badgers.......i like the feel of longer frames though......makes tricks like turndowns and lookbacks feel nicer almost......and to me feels more stable when on big jumps or quarterpipes high up and or spinning

|

6/17/2013 2:02 PM

I ride Bob V3s on my 21.25" T-1 SFA smile Although i don't do big jumps or ride quarters i know where you are coming from. I despise huge bars, however i actually like them on Flatland bikes! It gives you a lot more leverage getting on to the front wheel. With my shoulder i have a hard time holding the bars forward whilst there though. I'm pretty sure though once my shoulder is sorted i am comfortable on bars around 8.75". I've ridden my friends bike with Perfect 10s & i must say they are AWFUL! haha. Never ever will i go over 9" EVER.
