I was just wondering because I always slip with my Lakais (I skate with them and the grip is gone, mostly) and the thermalites that came with my Score are shit. Whenever I hop my feet come up off them and when I try to kick the rear end up my feet slip when I try to get my feet straight down. I was thinking maybe the Cult PC's or something with good grippy pins and more than 8. Anything is fine, just give me some ideas :D

I find the Oddyssey Trailmix to be just fine.
But if you really can't grip.... Use clipless pedal or duct tape your feet. HAHA

Shadow ravengers in plastic or metal (I prefer the metal)

Odyssey jcpc's or trailmixes

I'm a punk bmxer, I can't do it well so I do it loud.

The thermalites are just fine. I bought used thermalites from tomdon and i have beat the fuck up vans and they don't slip more than any other pedal.

But if you hate them it's your bike get something else. I just have a feeling it prolly ain't your pedals fault.

The lakais are good from what I've heard, but if they're worn down they wont grip. I've heard good about Odyssey Jcpcs, I've rode the plastic odysseys and they're okay. I ride Fly Ruben pedals and Vans now. Emerica has nice shoes as well.

i ride dekline shoes which have great grip.... the downside is that the only good thing about these shoes is the grip, since everything else turns to shit fast... i had mine for a month and they ended up ripped in the wierdest places.

as for pedals.... i guess twisted pc's

My favorite are Fit Mac pedals. While the sealed bearings version may be to pricey for you, they just released the unsealed version for half the cost. Went from Duo Resilite Pc to these.

why do you think i was concerned about what skate shoes to wear? and don't knock it till you try it. crocs are some of the most comfortable, lightweight, and inexpensive shoes. maybe not the best looking, but don't judge a book by its cover

Because um...

http://www.vitalbmx.com/forums/General-BMX-Talk,2/is-it-okay-to-wear-these-shoes,1285696

And while I have honestly never worn crocs and cannot validate whether or not they are comfortable. I will justify my hate for them because they are fucking hideous.

|

8/17/2013 1:00 PM

well i have and still do wear crocs while riding. so comfy and lightweight. i'll agree they're not the best looking, but they aren't hideous. during the winter season, i like wear my crocs mammoth evo clogs. same comfort as the crocs classics, but they keep you warm:

i highly recommend getting yourself a pair of crocs. super nice shoes
