What bars are your favorite and why? I used to have some Volume Bennet Lights, I had them for years but then decided to get bigger bars. They were from the tiny bars era. Remember Odyssey Milk Bars? Ridiculous how anybody rode with those things, but that was the fad back then, tiny narrow bars. I just go some S&M Grand Slam XLT's, I have not been able to test them out fully but they seem pretty solid and comfortable. I recently had a pair of Standard Strip Bars, They seemed nice and burly. When I got them I noticed they practically had no Knurling. This caused them to slip ALL the time and also caused me to overtighten the stem which led to them bars clamp area getting crushed. Which was also kind of surprising, they must of been a little thin aslo. This problem I had also led me to NEVER buy another stem with gay ass cutouts in the clamping area. Dumb idea whomever thought of this. The cut out just takes away from your clamping power and is to much stress on your bars. Anyways, your favorite bars and why? Animal Presidential Bars?

I've been running Stolen Cell bars for nearly two years now. I originally got them as they were £20 reduced from £50, but they're not bad at all and the've treated me well. They're 28" wide and 8.25" tall, with 2 degrees upsweep and 10 degrees upsweep. I'm planning on going for something with a bit higher upsweep next, the bars I'm considering are:
Odyssey GY3
Fit Benny L (Maybe a bit too high)
Animal Big 4 (Which geo wise are exactly the same except for the higher upsweep)
T1 8.5"
S&M Fathead

Had Tree Branch bars and loved them but was looking to go a bit bigger. Ended up with the 8.5'' rise 4 degree upsweep Tree Moto bars and love them. I also like the vibe Tree has going on; it's just chill.

i am right now running gy3s....i love them, but sadly, they are discontinued and i lost my receipt so i cant have the lifetime warranty.
i like the rise and upsweep, but since they are discontinued, my next bars with be sunday tall-t bars, since their geometry is only different because of the added 0.04 inches of rise

Tree is hands down the best company out there. The research and effort they put into each part is unmatched. If Tree makes a part that you're looking at you might as well as get it. I'm running 9.5x30 MOTO bars and love them. No flex and threaded bar ends.

You won't be disappointed. What upsweep are you going to get?

The 4 Degree Upsweep. I've been meaning to try high upsweep for a while. It's good to know that people have had good experience with them.

I also had a pair of Stolen Cell bars. They were really nice, I was actually debating on getting them again only bigger.

Anything with 12 degree backsweep and 1 degree upsweep (United Grande, Cult Deathrow V2). I'm about to trade for a pair of Fiend Team bars real soon cause all the bars have the exact same geo, except maybe width is like half an inch wider or shorter.

Pretty old thread, haven't seen anything from Mike in a while (I used to ride with him back in the day).

But since the subject is up, I love my current Federal Drop Bars. I wouldn't mind a TINY bit taller (they are 8.5's) but the same width.

I love my animal presidentals and big fours. I ride the big fours because i like the extra stiffness, but the geo on the presidentals is quite nice.
