I'm 6'2 and I have a 21.25tt length and 9inch rise bars with a topload stem i am having a big problem when I hop, I either fall backwords on my ass or my bars hit me in the legs right where my pockets are. This Is espicially aggravating because I have ben able to hop for about 2 Years and I hop about 2-3 feet but I recently traded bars with my friend and now i fall backwards when I try to Manuel or hop or when I hop the bars hit me in the legs so hard it has cracked my phone twice and I can't take it should I get new bars with different geo or is there something I can do to stop this

lean forward and you won't smash the bars into your legs or fall backwards, sounds like you just need to get used to the bars instead of getting new ones.

you need to get used to your bars.
and do what sbc said for your hops

I thought that I just needed to get used to them but It has ben about 2 months now and even though I don't fall off as much the bars are still slamming my legs I will try leaning forward
