Is a 11 tooth driver and 25 tooth sprocket a good gear ratio? is it good for, trail and street riding?

put this shit on ur other thread. u dont need to make a thread for everything jus put the everything into one. and its a personal preference. i personally wouldnt do it. i think it would feel like 3rd gear on a mountain bike which isnt good for street

i live right near a ravine where other riders have built in some dirt jumps, they are not in close sequence so it is not possible to pump through them, so i am thinking i need a ratio with strong acceleration. my current setup is a 44 tooth sporcket and 16 tooth sprocket, (stock 2010 diamondback joker)

I'm not the smartest guy ever wink but i run a 25/9 gear ratio and it gives me pretty nice acceleration and good speed.

I never grind, at all, i have no rails or any thing, to grind any where near me this is where i do most of my riding in trails, and on my wood halfpipe

OK,heres the deal.Your bike has a freewheel so if you want more low end,get a 42t sprocket.If you want more top end,get a 46t.The only legit reason to run the smaller sprocket combos is clearance while grinding.
