Use a huge ass wrench so it gives you more leverage or just use dynamite

Pedals are opposite threaded. Try the other way

If its the left crank you gotta turn it to the right to loosen it.

Never do this. It tempers with the metal and will end in udder failure when your crank arm busts in half.

take the crank arm off on the spindle then put the pedal wrench on it so the crank arm and wrench make a wide V shape. Put the crank arm on the ground and stand on it with one foot with the wrench pointing up slanted. Then with your other foot stomp on the wrench. This has always worked for me, sorry if it sounds confusing i tried explaining it the best i can.
