Hello from Oregon

Those dirt jumps will be a super fun never ending project. I had a section about 150X150 in my moms yard to do whatever (they have 5.5 acres) and it was ongoing to build as much as I could. After a few friends kept saying "Go build your jumps up, and tell us when you're done" I got kind of annoyed and started riding only park. I wish I would've kept them up, could've had some AWESOME stuff out there. I had a double leading into a small 45degree left berm, then a hip to the right into a large 180 berm, leading into a double over the 45degree berm, a table and couple other jumps.

Yeah man I'm pretty stoked we got a couple step ups right now and making good progress when I get things nice and jump able I'll put together a short video clip to show everyone what's up with it in the mean time I'm updating my instagram with videos and pictures my IG name is Khaosgardenz, it is unfortunate your friends didn't help your build my friends are actually being helpful motivators in getting the ramps built we got 3-5 of us out there everyday working on em

Damn, you are so lucky to have friends helping you to build those jumps! I'm out here alone from the start, I wish I had some guys to help build stuff so that it would progress much much quicker.

I grew up north bend/ coos bay area and now I live in the corvallis area

That's funny how old are you If you dont mind me asking I'm 24 maybe we were in school together at some point and never even knew it lol its a small world

hey man welcome back to bmx sucks to hear your bike was stolen :/ glad you finally got a new one it sounds dialed

I too went thru the same story. Bike got stolen and I felt down and out for a couple years until I got another, but haven't looked back since. If you love riding, you won't regret it as long as you keep telling yourself that wasn't the end and keep progressing. And lol @ Dave. I went thru that too. Everyone wants to ride them, yet no one is willing to do the work, then get mad when you tell them to fuck off. It's even worse when your jumps are on public property so they come fuck them up when you're not around. I dealt with that for a while too and it makes you demotivated to build real quick

Yeah I like riding and I still got some moves left in me :p just starting to get all the muscle memory for things back and finding my balance spot the first couple days was a lil uncomfortable being back on a bike but I'm readjusting again

I turn 45 next week. I left coos bay/NB in '89.

I had the same thing happen to me. Ended up buying a new bike a few years later and I'm so glad I got back into it. I've been to bend a few times and will be visiting Corvallis in the next few months.

Bend and North Bend are not the same. One is in the mountains. one is on the coast.

North bend and coos bay area southern oregon coast
