High-flying Park Progression

So I've had this discussion with a few people... What are your guys' thoughts on the progression of high-flying skatepark riding? Dudes like Pat Casey and Daniel Sandoval obviously kill the tech game too, but in regards to flair tricks out of quarters and combos over both jumps, do you think the progression might ever max out / top out / reach a ceiling. Sandoval is seriously killing it, even doing inventive under flip variations and so forth. But eventually, how many tricks can you fit in a single air? It seems like there comes a point where one might simply run out of combinations of tricks.

So are riders going to need more air? Maybe Vert and Big Air as a style of riding is going to grow in the future. I'm just speculating... What do you guys think?

Naaahh. Can't stop progression. In a couple years people will be pulling 1440 windshield wiper to downside whips on a box jump just like that *snaps*

I'd like to think that riders will never stop progressing. I'm not a huge fan of park rat edits, I like Harry Main's stuff and that's about it, but it is pretty impressive to see guys doing all kinds of flip variations and stuff like that every once in a while. "Special Flips" are so rad! Lol anyway, I don't think that park rats will ever just max out and stop progressing. I think whenever things start dying down, someone is going to come and lift things back up again; much like what Mat Hoffman did throughout the 90's.

There's always a limit we just havn't reached it yet and if we'll ever reach it but I think it will end up being more of a combo kinda progression and obviously a few new tricks here and there.

It was either Kevin Peraza or Daniel Sandavol who did a 540 tailwhip to decade off a quarter with less than five feet of air. Let's put him on the Megaramp.

sandoval did it but it was only a whip to decade..... we need somebody who can do all that shit but with the balls to actually try it.. because andy buckworth can do this but hasn't tried really anything new...

I think the limit will be based on technology of the bikes. There will be a point where we won't have much left, but we are nowhere near it. And combo lines are endless.

Amplitude is sick .....it's going to suck when progression gets so high riders start dying in contests like fmx and snowmobiling , it's only a matter of time..... Buckworth kind of scares me watchin him play with double backs like he does

true. I've never thought about that... When will extreme sports become too extreme? It's scary to think about...

Look at the history of b-class rally racing. That shit was crazy. Putting gas tanks under the driver's seat for a lower c.o.g.

I want to see the crazy tricks of today down with super clean flow, not looking hucked every try landing one footed then tossing the bike and throwing their helmet and shit,

Like risk their lives in a whole new level? I dont think so, its just like if sean burns want to go even harder and make 2nd or 3rd floor gaps to flat. He would just be break in not much time.
