Testimony and apologies

I want everyone to know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of your sins, he went to hell for three days and defeated death and rose from the grave on the 3rd day.

What would Jesus say: I didn't die for you to live like this!

A bmx mechanic? Bikes are nothing to work on, wheels are about the only thing complicated.
It would be a sweet job, but generally people who don't know how to work on their bikes don't have very nice bikes.
Guy I know that works at a bike shop says they mostly get really old bikes or cheapo bikes to work on.

I ride to stay on two wheels and have fun!

Yeah we get all the tweakers on their Bmx bikes wanting shit for free and wanting to sell us their Bmx with a "nice three piece crank"... Please!. And even building completes isn't the best unless they're sig series. All I like to do is build wheels and most of the Bmx guys like to do it themselves. Our shop sponsors a race team so its fun to work on those bikes. But yeah good luck finding an employee.

It's still an opportunity to be involved in the bmx industry beyond an amateur level rider. If i had the money to move i'd be down for this

I'm on the vital legit list!

That's the one thing we're truly missing is a good indoor park. We've got a small one but it's an hour and a half drive from here. A second one was opened last season by a bunch of riders but its about a 2 hour drive.

Edmonton has a great riding scene though, we have 7 skateparks in the city and every surrounding community has a really nice concrete park, so it's pretty easy to hop in the car and do a sweet skatepark tour day trip. At any given skatepark there are usually way more BMX riders than Skateboarders or Scooterkids. http://www.skateparktour.ca/index.php/ab

The Canadian distributor for Fit, S&M, United, FBM, Kink, Verde, Cinema, ODI, and a ton of other brands is located here so they've really helped build the scene.

We've got a bunch of Canadian pros that live here and a ton of other good riders.

Also, the Alberta economy is really strong and we end up working on and selling a lot of high end bikes! It really is a good time.

This is a cool video that shows off the scene a little bit:
