Yesterday I was on my way to the local bike shop when I got T-boned by a van and hit into oncoming traffic .
My leg is pretty beat up , but besides some scratches and bruises I'm fine . She didn't give me her info but I had her plate # , she offered to drive me to the hospital but I refused . She pulled out of the driveway / parking lot and signalled me to go when I slowed down , then tried to beat traffic and pulled out and by me right in front and so flew on the rode . Bike is fine , filed a report to the police and ICBC but because no sever injury or damage was caused nothing will happen . I have a video post - impact but it doesn't do much and I can't upload through mobile very well .
I took a couple T3's and rode later that day ( bad idea , can barely get out of bed now ) and even went on a date that night with a friend . No excuses !
Be safe , someone above was watching me . Wear yo helmet ..
