How Big Are Your Tires?

I'm feeling like it's time for me to step up my tire size. I rode 2.1 front and back forever, just got a 2.25 in the front and like it, but need to size up in the back. I do a ton of bump-jumps and wallies, so I feel like it would be those more cushioned, and even things like tire rides on rails against walls could be easier (not as hard to get stuck as with a skinny tire)

Just curious as to what sizes you guys ride front and back.

Currently running 2.20 in front and 2.10 in the back. I'm about to pick up a 2.35 from my friend later.

2.35 animal MTT front & back.

I personally love this setup, my bike feels solid on any street terrain, the 75psi max is perfect for street too.

Fatter tyres really helps me have more confidence with rail feebles & smiths. I've not found any real issues with the fatter tyres rubbing on hard 180s either.

I used to ride big tires, my previous build had a 2.35 mtt in front and 2.2 tww in back, and on my current bike im running 2.125 front and 1.9 back aitkens. i have to run a small tire in back so i can slam my back wheel considering my frame has no tire clearance. Overall i prefer the smaller tires for everything but impact absorbance, i hate the way big tires rub when grinding, and i like being able to use more of my peg during feebles. Though i do feel that 1.9 is too small for a back tire, i don't ever plan on running anything bigger that 2.1 in back again.

I ran a 2.25" and a 2.1" for years. With my new build, I bumped up to 2.4" and 2.2", but they're barely any bigger than my old tires. I wouldn't want to go any bigger in the back just because I run a brake and don't want to have to worry about having a perfectly true rear wheel.

2.35 front and rear once those cult vans tires hit 3ride! right now im runnin 2.4 and 2.0, it feels sweet for some reason, really cushony for drops but super quick because of the skinny tire in the back. i used to run them at around 80 psi give or take but my air compressor barely puts out 40 now so theyre usually 35-45 depending on many factors

2.35 front 2.15 back. its nice but i think i'll go with 2.25 front and back next time

I have 2.25 in the front and back and it's the perfect size for me. I had an MTT and TWW and they were bigger and I liked those but every time I would mess up a grind and my wheel would move, my tire would be rubbing my chainstays or forks.

I've been running 2.25 machete up front and a 2.10 Ross tire in the back for a little over a year now. Just ordered up some of the deharts though in 2.35 front and 2.20 back. I'm a big fan of the fatter tires and low psi, amazing grip and easy on the joints.

Ever since i got a frame that had infinite tire space i just run bigger and bigger tires.

I have a 2.3 WLT in the back and a 2.35 Animal MTT up front. I like it because wall rides are better and more balance room and all that. It also seems to help with landing a little over rotated or under rotated.

I personally think a legit 2.3 max should now be my limit. They feel not too big but definitely not too small either. I remember when I rode my first BMX bike, it had 1.95 tires and when I went to footjam, the fork crown would always bust the shit outta my toes and I ended up having to ride 2.0+ tires from then on. Then as time went on, the whole big tire scene came on and that's just how everything is now. I mean, there's almost legitly 2.5 tires and I was already all up in the Hawk 2.4 because that was like one of the first 2.4 tires released.

2.10" GLH-R/1.95" ASM
2.25" E-Comets
2.10" Eclat ESC

Played around with Shadow Strada 2.30" Tyres which I very much liked, I much prefer Slick Tread Tyres over Knobbly Tread Tyres!
