How Do You Like Your Grips To Feel?

Squishy or firm? Fat or skinny? What do you guys prefer? Personally I've been running the Animal Edwin's for years and they seem just perfect to me. I would say they have a medium size diameter (not exactly skinny or fat) and are definitely more squishy than they are firm. How do you like your grips to feel?

I like my grips to be 150-160 mm, medium diameter (but I have ran some thin ones that I liked), and not to firm or squishy.
When grips start to get to squishy it absolutely drives me nuts, which reminds me that I need to change my grips...

150 to 160mm length. Slim, soft & tacky = perfection! Odyssey Chase Hawk & Cult Chase Deharts are my personal favourites recently.

Cult Vans in gum, greatest grips I've ever ridden. nice and sticky and slim with just the right amount of "padding" or "squish"

i would say that i like grips that are quite soft (not too soft so they dont wear out too fast) which are quite wide like 130mm and grips that are a little bit sticky, i feel more comfortable. Cult/Vans grips are my favorites, altough the bar ends are a sack of shit, chase hawk grips are comfy as well

I like them very squishy, but firm like the eclat moon grips but not the eclat moon grips

squishy but firm and reasonably thick and long with some nice stickiness

This sounds so wrong

I really like my Odyssey Adam Banton grips. They are a little on the firm side, but they feel softer when you warm them up with your hand. Slippery when sweaty though, so I may not like them this summer.

The length of mine doesn't bother me. I ride my hands on the outside of the grips so I NEED the little end thing that's sorta bigger in diameter right at the end of the grip to be right against the ends of my palms. if that makes sense. They gotta be ribbed for my pleasure (giggity) and soft, but not squishy. Squishy grips suck and get sweaty easier in my experiences.

|

I like mine a bit shorter than normal, as I hold them right on the inside. I like them nice and thick, and fairly hard so they don't go horrible. I also don't like Patterns that flex in when you put your hands on, if that makes sense.

|

4/11/2013 1:25 PM

anything, as long as it's flangeless and really soft.

|

uuuuuuuuhhhh

I recently started using the eclat Sean burns grips I got for free, at first I absolutely hated them cuz they were hard and waxy but now they have been broken in a bit I love em, there thin sticky and soft, got the Edwin's on my dirt bike an I like em but after trying out thinner grips I wouldn't buy them again.

Thin soft, long n sticky. Is where it's at for me (no homo) lol
