Ride a bike a LOT. Watch videos of things to try to do. Go to a local skatepark and watch people.
I'm starting to think the OP is a troll.

If you're riding just to get pro, stop riding.

First, I'm not your bro. Don't address me as such.
Second, if your only goal is to be pro, and you are asking that question, I can tell you won't be.
-There is no defined date or timeframe to be pro.
-You need to be DAMN GOOD on a bike.
-You need to be a good person
-You need to be a good rep of the companies you ride for
-You need to be DAMN GOOD on a bike.
-You need to be in the right place at the right time
-You need to impress the right people
-You need to make appearances in the industry
-You need to be DAMN GOOD on a bike.
-You need to STOP MAKING TWO OF EVERY THREAD.
-You need to STOP ASKING ABOUT WALMART BIKES.
There are dudes who "went pro" after like 3-4 years on a bike, and other dudes had 8 before they were "pro".

whats funny is that it has worked out for a decent amount of pros

In all seriousness, just have fun on your bike. Chances are you'll never even get sponsored, let alone pro. Enjoy it for what it is. Especially when the most fun things about riding a little bike are pissing about with your friends, fooling around doing silly tricks in car parks, and travelling to spots. I don't think anyone actually enjoys beating themselves up for the sake of a bike.
Don't get me wrong, the feeling of landing something you've been trying for ages is amazing, but it still won't put a smile on your face as much as doing skids
