I can tooth hanger but i want to learn regular tooths because they look cooler. I have tried them on little flat rails and they are just not happening. I always end up hitting my back peg and sprocket or pedal. I know i should push my bike away from the rail but idk how to.

Well I suck at nose tricks but I have landed these a few times so here it goes.

Straight tooths vs Hangers. With a hanger you can kinda count on doing the whole rail if you go fast enough. Or ledge. Because you can get in that quirky position to where it stays better and you focus on the swing. For straight tooths, you have to actually have a little more balance. Think completely straight forward and put your head in front of your bars basically. Its a trick I struggle with mainly because 74.5 and 32mm offset is not exactly helpful. But yeah. You just gotta use the friction of the grind to your advantage too. Keep trying and practice nose manuals too if you can. Also be prepared to go OTB.
