I tried to 180 a curb and turns out when you double tire hop your 180's, you hit your nose on the curb. What can i do?

Hop higher.

OR start trying to hop front wheel then back wheel. That will add height, AND help clear things.

Also go faster.

Go faster
Pull up front tire first
Hop higher
Edit: I think I quoted someone by accident. I forgot to mention when you get better you can kind of push or pull yourself and the bike to get more distance

Start doing 90s off them and when you get comfortable with that go for the 180. It is what I did

|

Go faster, pull harder, and carve less.

Feeble you're kinda an ass to him

It's just a mental thing , I had the issue of doing it "off" something . It relates to any trick really , just a mental block. Get some speed and pull off , but move your hips so you like push the bike away and get the tire from the curb

go fast, carve less, pop high and spin slow.

make sure you drop at a decent height. like a foot.

that way, you'll spin a lot slower. have time to adjust your body to land center.

Hop higher, go faster, carve less and you should be good

|

7/7/2014 11:45 PM

Yep, don't really carve. Personally, the higher the obstacle you're dropping off of, the more I'd throw my head and pick up my rear end. Otherwise, you can spin fucking quick as hell, and it's honestly simple as that. Now going up things.... That's kinda different.

Learning to 180 up curbs is probably a better idea ....you don't carve 180ing up stuff that would get op out of the carving habit

|

7/8/2014 10:44 AM

approach the curb parralell so this way you can go as slow as you want and your carve into the curb will force you to not hit it ,
