I am just getting into Dirt Jumping and getting sick of my bikes shitty Mongoose frame (a 2010 Mongoose Menace frame), which has decent parts (Colony forks, Fit bars, Shadow conspiracy stem, Alienation front wheel and some other stuff), but is heavy as f__k.

I work at a shop who deal with Premium, so I can buy their parts for a considerable discount, but I am wondering are they really worth it? I'm more specifically interested in their 1948 Spline drive cranks and CK frame, but I can't seem to find many reviews on these, so has anybody got any personal experience with any of their parts?

Its pretty generic. Id go with other companies like fit/s&m/eclat etc before premium.

I suppose that's why we carry them, makes sense.

Thanks

The quality is decent, but they price far too high in parts that most bikes have stock. Take the CK frame, same as A LOT of other frames, just hella expensive because it has Chad Kerely's name on it

So they're just charging a premium (excuse the pun) because of a Pro's name, classy...

The discount I can get is pretty massive, so I suppose least if I was to buy one of their cranksets I wouldn't really be losing out too much, right?

They aren't terrible....
I'll put it this way. They are on par with companies like Eastern or Haro.
They aren't generic surprise parts. They'll last you a minute if you treat em right.
So to answer your question, at a significant discount, yes, they're worthwhile.
Just don't ask about Premium CK forks. Ever.

Well that puts it into perspective then, I think I may steer clear then. I just stumbled upon the CK fork thread too, funny shit.

What cranks and frames would you guys recommend? I would like to keep them more dirt orientated, but I'm not too knowledgeable as to what my choices are, I ride Downhill and most other kinds of MTB, but am just getting into BMX for a change

Odyssey thunderbolt Cranks because they have lifetime warranty.

You say BMX is your life but you barely ride.
BUT hey, That's none of my business.
