You must 180 in the awkward fashion i see so often. It is harder that way, learn to do them the right way with compression and the right way you hop and tire pressure doesnt affect it much. I run 75-80 in the front and 90 in the rear.

chances are you aren't hopping properly and were using the give in the tyres to help you, work on hops with harder tyres, as soon as you get the proper technique for them everything is actually easier
learn how to do it properly. it doesn't change at all in my mind. i run 100-110 in both tires and can 180 big just fine
