i take a small philips head screw driver and lay the chain to where the pin is able to come out of the bottom side . i took a piece of 2x4 and drilled a hole in it for that. then i drove the pin half way out and took some needlenose pliers and twisted one side of that link so the inner part on a reg. chain can slide off. then when you need it back on just slide the link onto the pin, twist the link side to line back up with the pinhole and drive the pin back thru to its original position. but while its off you might as well buy a masterlink

yah.. im that nigga goin WAYYYYYY too fast for the ramp.

why would you want to deliberately break a chain....? seriously, either ride it till it breaks or just take it off... or am i missing something?

he should have said that then..., all you need is a twig or similar object, its not hard. just raise the rear wheel (or place bike upside down) then pedal it with you hands and then just loop the chain off the driver with the twig. easy smile

He did say that. Removing a chain is called "breaking" it. You don't literally snap it. That's why the tool is called a CHAIN BREAKER. Ooooohhhh, aaahhhh

FTW!

so how come people are sugesting ways of literally breaking the chain, then he is trying them? mmm? he wants to literally break the chain. and you dont need a gay ass tool either, just some enginuity. also, were you having a heart attack just as you finished typing this?
