I ride both, more often on my coaster those last times but it´s cool to get back on cassette sometimes, to do cassette tricks or simply to ride a bowl or a trail.

Both have their fun aspects and positives, and both have their negatives. If you like one more than the other, go for it.

Around here, it seems every kid near me HAS to have a freecoaster. There are like 5 riders who don't, but a few of them are "getting them soon". Best part is, like 3 dudes actually use them.

I wanna see someone using a coaster brake just to be different.

But really i have no problem with either, if i ride a coaster, i do coaster stuff, generally smoother stuff, if i have a cassette i mainly stick to more technical shit.
