Hubguard fitment

Get an S&M, I never have to spread my dropouts & I even have a little spacer in between the hub and guard cause it rubbed my spokes slightly and I still never have to work hard to spread the dropouts

Mine's coming up on being 3 years old now with no noticeable damage besides one little spot and cosmetic damage, other than that it's in really good condition with how much I grind.

I can't say much for the other guards cause I've neve used them but I've heard good things about the Infinity guard, and my friend actually ovalized his Bonedeth guard so idk if I'd get that haha.

I love my pornhub guard. The website and the guard haha

but it's honestly the best guard i have ever had and even tho i am not currently on pegs, i do 180 feebles pretty often and it holds up very very well.

I think the Eclat Overguard will be awesome when it hits the shelves. 4140 chromoly, works on both drive and non-drive sides, and mounts on the outside of the dropout. No more spreading the frame to make the guard fit. What more could you ask for?

I'd ask for the Gsport guard. Éclat and Mutant blatantly ripped off Gsports new guard. It was shown in October. Eclats guard was first seen this January.

I just went back and found that. Must have missed it somehow. Any idea if / when GSport plans to release it?

Not really, mutant has been working on the peg/guard for years, that uses an over the dropout design and was #inb4gsport

I needed 3 washers to space my Daily Grind NDS. My Infinity fit the same hub with no washers.

I know about their combo thing, but I'm talking about the separate guard they showed this month. It's practically identical to Gsport's.

What ohioan is saying is true. I noticed this and laughed.

But actually the guy named andrew has stuff welded to his frame just like that on both sides who runs grindworks. So he actually had been doing it like that for a long time.

they are all practically the same, just as most hub guards are. but the idea to put the guard over the dropout came from the peg guard, all g sport did was take the peg away. so did eclat, so its not like gsport was super original. its rare a truely original product comes along, but then again, thats innovation, taking something and making it better. Which is much more popular and easier than inventing something completely new.

It didn't come from the peg guard. It came from the Private Part I believe. G-Sport still did this generation of these guards first, and Eclat and Mutant copied it with no attempt to do anything different. The main beef I have with Eclat is they claimed their guard was the first external, universal guard when that's a complete lie.
