try to use your legs to bring the front up more.
Also, instead of trying to bring the bars upp, bring the bars towards you while you extend your legs.
like so lol

be carfull, you want your weight to be goin upwards and to stay over your bike without falling backwards, so when you pull up, don't lean back.

Compression, and how you use your arms is important also. You want to pull the front as your weight is rising. don't let your arms stay extended like rubberbands lol. use dem muscles!

I forgot to mention. Push off the ground and take the bars with you

In the end, bunnyhops will never be completely learnt. As you progress, the feeling of controlling the bike will sink in and you wont remember what it was link to not be able to bunny hop.

bmx gets more fun... trust me. cheerful

It's not really about muscle, but more about technique-it's a things one people misunderstand. Sure, more muscles help more with pop, etc, but if you've gout muscle and no technique, you are not going anywhere.

Don't think too much about it. Just watch all the videos there are on the youtube about the bunny hop and practice, practice, practice, practice.

It takes about 6 years to get good. Don't forget that. You are not going to become pro in 6 weeks, much less 6 months.

What you need is to focus less on static hopping. Get the technique down and the guidelines on the vids down into your brain. Jump over a rock, jump over a shoe, jump over everything.

Good luck.

Should have posted this in the how to section anyway and used the search bar.

Shoot up with some steroids if you don't want to put hard work in

It's all about technique.

It will take some time to build the right kind of muscle. Its all technique once your get that.

How tall are you and what is the top tube length of your frame?
A frame that's too long could make hopping loads harder to learn.
Or maybe your bars are too small?
