I remember SE PK Rippers back in the day. How about a Quadangle?

Back in the 80’s PK Rippers were sick. What do y’all think of this 2011 Quadangle for $80? Just for a spare bike/something to mess around on/with for the youngsters.

I loved the Quadagle! I had one (I traded my cracked PK for it). It was the original chromoly quadagle. IT was heavy but it was cool. I ALMOST picked up a used on off craigslist a month or so ago. But it was a hi-tens model & I didn't have any use for it other than nostalgia so I didn't get it. I would like to pick up one tho.

I wonder if this one is Chromoly or hi-ten. I might get it. $80 sounds pretty cheap

More than likely it's Hi-Ten. I bought SE's top of the line complete in 2011 and it was, as far as I could find, the only 100% chromoly frame fork and bars.

Yeah, it's very likely hi-tens. That really was the only reason I passed on the other one that was for sale locally here. Whatever... it is cheap. AND, you might be able to talk him down a little.

I still have a pair of flight cranks. Funny thing is, they are pinch bolts & 8-spline (as they all were) . We NEVER had any issues with them loosening up. But today 8 splined, pinch bolt cranks are looked down on.

I think back then we all hit up trails, mostly. Not much cement skateparks at all. Plus all the insane street tricks being done nowadays. Crazy ass drops and huge jumps on cement!
