So basically i have a 34 tooth sprocket right now and i want to make it smaller becase when i've tried to double peg grind in the past it's hit the rail. I'm definitely no bike expert so i was wondering what i need to buy to be able to downsize my sprocket? i know it's something in the back, but that's about it.

You need a smalled chainwheel (sprocket) and a smaller driver in the back, and you would have to break your chain smaller.
I would get the haro conversion http://www.danscomp.com/401107.php?cat=PARTS

You don't need to have a smaller rear gear, It'll just be easier to pedal. Like im running a 13( i think ) in the rear and a 25 in the front. easy to pedal about right for my area with he hills and all.
