It came to me at work while looking at bmx parts, I thought, I could make some valve caps for fun.... and the BOOM! Valve caps with an integrated or detachable spoke key.

So many bmxers never have a spoke key, or are constantly misplacing it, well why not keep it on your wheel?
I might have it thread onto the valve cap, not sure. i could use 7075-t6 aluminium or maybe silver steel. Actually think this is a sick idea haha. I just hope we have the proper sized slot/end drill to mill the slots on the spoke key.

That actually is pretty good. Only issue is when some asshat snags it because it is "cool looking".

I would also think a bar end with a spoke wrench inside it, or a seatpost or something would be good.

I want them already. Thats an awesome idea. You should see if you could design a seat with the underside having "snap in" allen keys. Like a long 6mm allen key that goes under the side of the seat, that clicks into the plastic body so it can't fall out and wouldn't look funky. Thatd be sick.

I mean socket seatposts are already done so this would would go right along. Bike parts that double as tools would be awesome. The self assembling bike! I would pay the shipping to have stuf like that sent to me just to test haha

Yeah it's a great idea to get the tools integrated to the bike, like your valve / spoke key.
In the same kind, something who've changed my life is the seat post with the 17mm key (made by wtp), so when i just go ride around without bag, I only take my multi allen key in case (if the bar move forward or something)

There's a link above haha.

But seriously, I like the idea of tools and parts integrated. Makes street missions easier. Like the Fly Cobra Tube, no tool installation (never take your wheel off anyway) and some bike-integrated tools and you're set.
