NO, back in the day people like Hoffman hucked 40LB bikes around. Guess what, they didn't give a shit.
Bruh
Its not. Mine weight close to 25.
It also depends in the rotstional weight.

25 is nothing. The more you think about it, the heavier it gets. Mind over matter. Just ride that bitch.

That is light as hell man.
My first bike that I rode for a year was just over 20kg. pretty sure 25 pounds is close to 11Kg.
In the end its all really in your mind. Go for geo and strength and then maybe weight afterwards.
This is the whole reason why i cant find any good 48H wheels anymore
The first breath is the beginning of death
25.8 sounds perfect mine is about 24-25 and it feels fine

I plan to go back to all 4 pegs, all 4 hubguards, and a guard sprocket, so I'm sure my bike would be at least 26 pounds and I have pretty light crap already too. Just ride that dang thing, dude! That's not even close to being heavy and past and present have their con's, but just ride it!

It's fine. My ride weighs around 28-29lbs it feels right.
You say BMX is your life but you barely ride.
BUT hey, That's none of my business.
My near $2k custom weighs 27 so im gonna say no haha. It all depends on what you like, I personally like knowing theres a bike under me. I feel like weight is kind of irrelevant to how it handles. What really makes a difference is rotational weight. I dropped just over 20oz of rotational weight and my bike handled as if I dropped 5lbs elsewhere. While the bike may weigh 26lbs, it might handle closer to a 30+lb or 20lb bike depending on the wheels/tires

my bike weighs around 20 lbs and it almost feels too light sometimes. but if your bike weighs less than 30 lbs, weight shouldn't really be a concern

Either your an Idiot or a pussy, I dont sense your sarcasm.
Yeah my 21" bike is about 25-26lbs. You really cant get much lighter than that before you start sacrificing strength to save more wieght. And yes Rotational weight really does make a big difference. I run Demo Momentums right now. I may go back to Premiums or Maxxis. But if your bike is feeling heavy or slugish still, try some lighter tires.

lol noob ur not drlling nuff wholes !!11!!!1!
OP on a serious hand 25 pounds is really light for a BMX bike, don't worry about weight, just ride and have fun.
"Are they punkin' me Tio, are they punkin' me?"
OP, trust me that is a fine weight and the Haro 350.1 is an awesome bike (I have it) I'm sure your brother will love it.
Weight doesn't matter. If it feels good, it's good. If it doesn't, change it. Geometry and rotational weight matter way more than actual weight feel wise.

Most GOOD completes on danscomp are roughly 25 pounds.any less than 25 pounds for dirt jumping will snap the frame without the right geo
That's fucking retarded. The geo makes no difference in strength (Technically, a higher seat tube and a shorter rear end and top tube will make a difference but not noticeably). A sub 25 pound bike could easily have a 6 pound frame.
