The shoes .

Anyone swear by them ? Probably my next kicks after my Vans have been worn out , lots of miles . Mainly concerned about durability over anything . A homie owes me a favour so I might get a discount on some all black pair. Also , anyone try the lunarlon Janoskis ? Heard they're comfy and good for impacts but 130$ for a BMX shoe is a lot for something I'll mangle up quick .

I got some 6.0s for free from a uncle who never wore them cause they felt weird so he gave them to me for free, they actually just wore through today after 11 months of constant riding. I'm brake less btw. I'd buy another pair. I'd try them the only shitty thing is that shoes are expensive in Canada.

Ive got 2 going on 3 year old janoskis and i swear by them only have started to develop rips on the outer shoe a couple months ago but still completely rideable only thing id have to day is after they break in they feel like slippers so if you dont want that you should probably avoid them great shoe all around for me dont have any experience with the lunarlons though. If you buy a pair get the canvas ones my friends suede ones have begun to rip a lot easier than the canvases. i can post pics if you want em

Yah I'd appreciate it . I'm mainly concerned about sole durability for the brakeless riders out like me but if you say they last a while then maybe I'll grab a pair . The all black ones I want look amazing and are canvas so I should be good there , I'm just wishing that if I drop more than 70-80$ on a shoe it'll last at least 3-4 months . My Vans were good but I've only had them for maybe 2-3 months and my main shoe is already worn in the sole pretty good . If you can show me a picture of the sole I'd appreciate that emmensely

Both my pairs have rips but are still rideable. My first pair is over two years old and feels like a slipper and I still can go cruise around in them. My other pair are about 3 months old and I expect to get 2 years from them. Best shoe imo

I'd never ride a pair. House shoes/slippers would probably offer better protection.

I had Janoskis a year or two ago because they were on sale and they were the second most comfortable and durable shoe I've ever bought. Thr only shoes I've liked better were the Vans Chima Ferguson shoes I've been running recently. Durable, great level of rigidity, comfortable as all hell, and most of all they have the signature amazing grip of vans. Might not work for everyone because it's a very slim shoe so if you have wider feet it probably won't be all that comfortable

I have wide/flat feet and the initial fit is terrible lol but over time they stretch and become really comfortable. The insoles are great also, switched them out and use them in my vans now, but something weird you might have to get used to is that the insoles have a bit of a heel but you should get used to them in a couple days. Only complaint i have about them is the laces tear kinda easy if you get the cord ones instead of the normal flat laces
