Ive had mine for about 4 weeks now....I clear coated the shit outta it...the only place its rusting is under the top tube where i lift it in and outta my truck all the time. The oils from your hands will do it fo sho

it'll be fine. left my fly raw with no clear or anything before i painted it for a few weeks and it was fine. if it rusts a little sand it off
