I wish there was a bike shop near me, there's not even one within an hour! It sucks because I can't drive, and my parent don't like me ordering off the internet, even though I assure them that it's ok. It's all a bunch of MTB fags trying to sell bmx things. When I first got into bmx, the owner of a shop near me told me that getting a giant complete for 350 was better than buying a WTP Reason. It annoys me when people don't know what there talking about.

well im only 14 and only have been sericly riding for about a year and just got a lite and strong bike after i cracked the frame down the weld on my dimond back but wen it comes to buying stuff for my bike my perents thay can be pretty strect thay stareted to loosen up about on line buying wen i showed them dans comp and how trusted thay were but my parents wont evan let me put the parts on my bike that i order so i have to get thim to drive me down to the bike shot wich is a 40 minit drive and thay hardly ever want to do that but wtp reson all the way that bike is sick

just tell em you know what youre doing and you'll learn from your mistakes when working on your bike.
but mistakes can sometimes be costly.

my parents arent strict about buying partys for me now compared to when i first started riding. they understand that i want my bike custom and the way i like it. i usually buy my own parts though. unless i break a part

Its winter here so i cant really get a job to buy my own shit...and even if i did i wouldnt have a way to order it online. my parents think grips can last me 6 months....they only buy parts if theyre completely destroyed. and sometimes they wont even let me spend my own money. my lbs is pretty sick tho, so if i can ride there (30 minute bike) im set.

My parents will let me buy what i want as long as i have sufficient funds.
I think they're sick of bikes now though coz i've done 3 Danscomp orders in a year. Bought a heap on second hand stuff and sold like 40-50 different things.
