not too fond of sunday. They seem to just half ass all their things. Since Odyssey and sunday are sister companies, it seems odyssey comes out with the final part and sunday seems to just come out with a cheap and less reliable version of the part.

Mainly because they just don't really carry much that I'm interested in. I don't really dislike them, they're just kinda there for me.

Must be hard for you to set up a complete bike...unless most of your components are Profile.

Honestly as long as it is Taiwan, or USA, you are likely in good hands. Some brands suck more than others, but it is not too common.

As to least enjoyed brand, probably Cult. I just don't care for anything they have to offer/do. Their team rips, but their products don't stand out to me.

I would really like to know why you all chose the brands you did. Especially Shadow. Their parts look like quality.

Shadow has had some issues with forks snapping. Sunday snapped a hubshell.

I just don't care for cult. maybe it was what I saw when they came to be, (robbie morales wanted S&M to be the parent company, Moeller said no, Robbie took half the fit team and left, and just seemed whiny based on what I saw).

Plus their parts aren't anything special. They use Primo everything and rebadge it for hubs etc, their frames are nothing special and look like catalog parts (where they order from a manufacturer and slap their name on it)

Looks don't mean shit.

I snapped part of the flange off my 9 month old hub shell back in 2009, snapped a side of the clamping area off a 4 month, barely ridden, stem, then cracked another stem…

Not to mention their customer service/warranty was complete shit in helping me.

Don't even get me started on how many snapped forks I've seen as well

I can acknowledge that they've improved in the last few years but I still dislike them and refuse to ride anything from them anymore.

Companies I really like - Subrosa, BSD, FBM, Odyssey, Primo, Fiend, Animal, The Make, Fit, Cult, old Stranger

Some other companies make stuff that I like but I'm not all too into them, and some are just on the other end of the spectrum from me.

It's hard to judge a company. Just because a company makes good parts doesn't mean they do well for BMX in general, and vice versa. I strongly believe a good company will spend the time and thought into making their parts stand out and stand the test of time, aswell as give back to the community in every way possible. I feel like a bike company should be nothing more than friends on bikes doing what they love to bring the world of Bmx closer together and help it live to see the days that we won't.

You sound dumb.. I'm just going to assume you dislike Mongoose and DK for the same reasons.

Yes, the $90 bike at WALMART is hitensile and has 1PC cranks. Most bike companies with any bike under the $275 mark construct it from hi tensile steel and use 1-PC cranks on it and charge twice as much. So, shame on them for making the same thing for cheaper for kids interested in starting BMX.

And crazy enough, if you're not a cheap ass buying a $90 bike with the expectation of it being built to last, they have many aftermarket frames and components that are built for some of the world's top professional park riders.
