A lot of people are fuck footed, it will not stop you do do whatever you want to do.

I know a guy who ride left foot forward, spin on the right but grind on the right side.
Some people have their natural spin side supposed to be the opposite.
Some people are normally footed but send naturally their barspins in opposite, or even weirder, their whips !

For the barspins I got a good example of it, Dennis Enarson, (left foot forward / spin right) the guy is is beast so he can do them both ways (because you NEED to send the regular barspin while spinnig) but, he prefers to do them with his rigth hand while doing straight line barspins or oppo spin so when he do a double barspin 180 on a spine, he spin the 180 in opposite to throw the bar with his right hand. (Basically, I'd like to put the link of it here but I cannot find it anymore... But watch any part of Dennis and you'll see that).

Edit : Finally found the clip I was searching for lost in the "Dennis Enarson's Demolition Parts Parts Part" video (too much "parts" I know...). If you look at it from 4.25 min, two clips with straight barspins (throw different ways) and just after, the double bar 180 I was speaking about.
Here's the "link" :

Second edit : he does 180 "oppo" double bar, and just after, the oppo 180 double bar.... But we are speaking of Dennis... kind of guy who do huge 540's and oppo 540's over stuffs...
But afterall this is another example of it's doable do to spins, whatever what foot is forward.

Well now you know 2. Lol. I'm right handed, ride left forward, spin to the right and grind right as well! Throw bars with my right hand, catch with the left too. I can grind, spin and get out of fakies both ways but prefer going right, like 90%/10% honestly. Guess I'm just fucked up like that, but that's how it feels most comfortable to me. Haha

I ride left forward and spin left it's just more comfortable to me learning 180s was a little hard though.

I learned opposite stuff a LONG time ago. Just gotta practice. Ryan Nyquist was one of the main dudes trying the 1080 for a while and got SUPER close spinning the same way. Practice.

if you grind on your left, take this as a blessing. easy spins out of grinds. if you grind on your right, then you're all kinds of fuck-footed lol.

if you cant 180 yet, you still have a chance to easily correct your bad footedness and still be able to learn oppo spins easier

try right spins for a while and see how it feels after trying it

This.

I'm the opposite of that haha

Grind on the left, right foot forward, and spin right.

It fucked me up for awhile but I can 360 flat no problem, dipped 360, 540 flyout, etc. You'll be fine. You can always try spinning to the right to see if you like that way better, but if not just stick with spinning to the left.

I'm left foot forward. I learnt oppo 180's yesterday. What I do it I carv a lil but not much then I give a good hop and turn my head and sholders and I lean a bit forward. At first I did 90's the ofter I wile I got the 180'

I'm goofy-footed/dick-footed, and my God, 360's are the devil for me. I have 180's down quite well now that I think of it. Switch 180's are awkward, but definitely somewhat easier to pull. Switch 360's are okay too, but I need to control my body better so that I don't tap the rear. At this point, I'm starting to wonder what it will feel like by the time I attempt 540's or 720's.

I'm the same as you, left foot forward but spin to the left, do you have any tips for half cabs for 180's?

I ride left foot forward and I spin left. I do fly out 180s and 360s, it took me 1 month to have the 180 and 4 the 360 (going to the park twice a week). I do flat 180s too. What I'm trying to say is that is not a problem, just practice and have fun.
