If i buy a left hand drive hub can i just switch my cranks and sprocket and bottom bracket around and use that? will it work properly? or will i have to go buy a whole new set up

You will need cranks with a LHD sprocket boss or a spline-drive sprocket if you have 48s cranks. You can run your cranks flipped but i wouldn't recommend it.

No you can't run cranks flipped at all the pedals will come lose all the time
But if you have 48 spline rhd cranks you can use a spline drive sprocket on the left

Or, if your cranks arent lhd/rsd compatible, just switch the spindles in the pedals when flipping the cranks around and all will be good.

That's waaayyyy too much effort to go through. Knowing almost all pedals are unsealed, people who don't know anything and go to try this will also need a new set of pedals after that.

Any cranks that are RHD/LHD compatible, lol. Cranks usually never come LHD alone (except Profile = overpriced anyways), always either RHD alone or RHD/LHD.
