There really is no "best" bike for the money. Some good things you want to keep an eye out for are.

Double walled rims

Sealed bearings

Chromoly parts not Hi-Tensile steel

any bike with the things I just said is gonna be a great start and should keep you going for a while.

I am looking at the WeThePeople Justice 2015,
do you know anything about this bike, is it good value?

The justice is pretty good, but it has double wall rim only on back, sealed hub only in back, hiten fork and bars(that's not good). You should really try to get more cash and buy a bike that will have full cromo frame+bars+fork . If a bike has that, it's very good for abegginer. When is your birthday? You can get 2015 bikes at a lower price if the 2016 version is launched

Best thing to look for is to see if you can get into Full Chromoly frame don't worry about the parts on it in that price range.

Try to stretch a bit and get something a wee bit higher than the justice. Like the Crysis for example. It is a really good bike for your money.

If not, then don't change brands. In terms of complete bikes, WTP completes are usually at the highest spot in terms of durability and have no issues whereas another bike of the same price could have a bad stem, low quality bolts that strip too easily, or bad painting (rust will show in one year or so, the paint is there to make it nice when you see it in the showroom).

Get the Crysis and you will be the happiest guy in the world.

Worked out for me tongue

It doesn't matter where a train goes. It's decidin' to get on that does.

Look into GT or mongoose , they make cheap bikes you can buy ride and if your not into it you don't piss your money away on it if you don't stick with it, if you do then you just replace the parts you break as you go

The mongoose chamber is still on sale for like $225 bucks it's a solid complete especially for the money.
