Hey, just wanted to ask... I'm a UK 8 in Vans and I'm looking at getting some Lotek Reeves 2015. Will a UK 8 Lotek fit the same as the Vans or would I need a size up? Are they small / tight?
Also if any of you guys run Lotek shoes, how are they?

I have no idea about the sizes thing, but I've run nothing but Lotek Reeves shoes since 2013 and they're hands down the best shoes I've ever ridden in.
The bottoms never wear out from all the footjam tricks I do, but I also don't drag my feet on the ground or in my tire so that helps a lot too. They're also really comfy and the newer ones have a much better insole that doesn't wear out so quickly and has better heel support. Definitely recommend them.

The 'teks are a lil smaller but not close enough to go down in size, I'm sure it depends on the model also

I got these shoes last week and im a UK 9 in Vans and i got a UK 9 in the Loteks and they fit fine there is a tiny bit of room but not enough to downsize and by time i have my ankle braces on etc theyre perfect. great riding shoes as well from what ive heard and so far are holding up a treat especially the sole, as i do vader slides there is no wear so far

I would recommend Lotek over Vans, simply because they're bmx specific shoes for about the same price.
When I wore Loteks back when I use to ride, they ran a little bit bigger. I would have to say as far as Lotek goes, stay true to your size otherwise order .5 size smaller.

Size wise their the same I'd say I haven't had a pair of loteks in years since the Cory Martinez shoe but after almost ten years of vans I think I'm going to go back to lotek or try some almonds , I want a shoe with more heel support then the vans have been giving me

Get some Loteks, you won't regret it. They've improved so much lately, especially the insoles. Usually I go through them pretty quickly but the new ones last forever and have amazing heel support.
I had a pair of Almonds a couple years ago and ripped them up pretty fast haha

I had some old loteks from probably 2006-2008? I wear 10.5 in vans but the loteks are 11s and fit like 10.5s, I dunno about the new ones. As for loteks vs vans does it really matter? Loteks are just vans clones now.
