What are your thoughts on Low Standover frame? I currently ride one.

For me, It's okay kinda like the feel but the looks meh, I have 7" standover. though lower than 7" looks ridiculous. Probably getting a higher frame like 8.25 - 8.5.

My thoughts is I don't know because I never rode one but I do have the Colony Hell Stallion/ phantom that I'm building right now so can't wait until it finish. So how does it feels riding a low standover frame you both can answer this. I like how they look.

ref-momoney brought a frame.

I rode a Fly Tierra for a while. I wasn't a big fan. I also rode a frame with 10" standover and that felt terrible too. Lowish frames look sweet if they're not too low. Medium standover is best.

I can't stand em. I have to have the seat right between my legs. I have a medium standover with a fist of seatpost. Just my personal preference.

Low standover frames looks weird, i like it better between 8.5" and 9"

I like them tbh, just because can cans and fun shit like that is easy and i can still bar on them so who cares? I mainly prefer like 8-9 inch stand overs. It's fine honestly. All geo has it's useful things.

Does anyone remember the blackeye killorado frame being hot shit amongst the weight whores? Good for a giggle.

Second worst trend in BMX history right behind seats without padding ziptied to the top tube.

Every one that wanted one of those thought they were gonna land hop whips first try. I bet it felt like riding a full suspension bike since all the strength of the triangles were pretty much gone.

It doesn't matter where a train goes. It's decidin' to get on that does.

I had an Eastern Boss which was pretty low, and I slammed the seat for a while. Whips were easier, but bars and trucks became trickier.

I went with a low frame cause I originally started riding flatland then I started riding park with friends then street if I have someone to go with. Too bad Im the only one who rides BMX in my neighborhood.
There is someone selling a Eastern Grim Reaper 7 used for $140 I might get those if i have the money.

Hey Albe's! what's up.
I was the one asking about the demolition zero rims. When are you going to have them? and how much would it cost?

Anyway the Hangover is way lower it's like 6.5 or 6.75. Too low. The premium guttershark would be nicer. IM into low standover just because It's easier to do some tricks. If i could be like Flip who can do some flat tricks with a higher SO I would change to a higher one. BTW, is FLIP riding the new Haro La Bastille? Matthias' Sig frame?

Hey. We are just waiting on Demolition's next shipment of rims as they are actually out of them. I'm guessing the next couple weeks.

Yes, I'm running the Haro La Bastille. It's perfect for my style of street / ramp / flat riding. Check my bike out
